True nature lovers would love to have their photo printed on wood – we make that dream a reality. At WENZEL, the image is applied directly to the wooden surface. First, we prime the material with a white coat. Then we print the actual design. This ensures that areas which are white in the photo also appear white on the wood.
Materials that offer scope for creativity
Alternatively, we can leave the white areas unprinted, so that the wood shows through in certain parts of the image – which may well be desirable for certain designs. If you wish to use this printing method, please inform our service team in advance. It is also possible to print white areas („spot white“).
Solid wood or slatted
When printing on wood, you can choose between the „single-piece“ and „cross-slatted“ options. With the latter, we print the design onto wooden slats placed side by side, each approximately 6.7 cm wide and around 2 cm thick. This also explains the fixed formats we offer for this print. You can still choose from a selection of lengths. The „single piece“ option does not require these cross slats. In both versions, the print is secured by a half-circle of teeth recessed into the back, making it extremely easy to hang on the wall. Any questions? Simply get in touch with us.

This material is, of course, intended exclusively for indoor use. What’s more, as wood is a natural material, it expands and contracts. It is a living material. To ensure you can enjoy it for a long time, we recommend choosing a room with constant humidity and minimal temperature fluctuations.
